UGANDA UNION MISSION TO ELECT NEW LEADERS

The Seventh-day Adventist Church Session responsible for electing new leaders begins today, Sunday, November 16, at Imperial Botanical Beach Hotel in Entebbe.

The leaders to be elected in this Session include: bishops (conference presidents), secretaries, and treasurers for all the conferences, plus departmental heads under the Uganda Union.

It is recalled that the Uganda Union leadership (top three) was recently confirmed. These include:

- Pr. Samuel Kajoba (President),

- Pr. Nicholas Bitamazire Birigwa (Executive Secretary),

- Elder Isaac Lyada (Treasurer).

This means that the remaining departmental leaders will be elected during this two-day Session.

However, by the time it closes on Monday, November 17, it is expected that all the new bishops (conference presidents) across Uganda will have been elected and confirmed. More details will be shared.
